  • Written Communication: Skilled in creating professional written content for marketing materials, presentations, and social media. I have also developed written marketing materials and messaging to inform and engage community members through my capstone project with Hand-Up Financial Group.  
  • Verbal Communication & Collaboration: Experienced in collaborating with others, forming new ideas, and working together in teams. Through projects like creating videos, I developed good communication with planning, executing, and problem solving to create the finish product with my classmates. 
  • Audience Engagement: Able to communicate well with different audiences and goals. Through social media videos and my capstone project with Hand-Up Financial Group, I have developed skills in writing messages that connect with different audiences and encourage engagement.  

Marketing & Creative Skills

  • Marketing Strategy: Developed a marketing and event planning campaign for Hand-Up Financial Group, including creating promotional material, developing a gala concept, creating a budget, and providing recommendations to increase community engagement and support. 
  • Content Creation & Design: Experienced in creating visually engaging materials such as social media posts, promotional graphics, and digital presentations. I use my creativity to communicate and develop material that is engaging and informational. 
  • Digital Media Production: Experienced in producing and editing video content for both class projects and personally. This includes planning content, organizing my ideas, putting the plan into action, and editing the footage. 
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Able to use my creativity and determination to create solutions for challenges that arise. For my Hand-Up Financial Group campaign, I created strategies for planning an event with limited resources by researching potential partnerships of organizations that have the same values as Hand-Up and realistic community support. 

Event Planning & Project Management Skills

  • Event Planning: Experienced in developing event ideas, creating timelines, planning promotional materials/strategies, and organizing logistical details. My capstone project allowed me to design a gala that included budgeting, marketing, audience outreach, and organizing the entire event. 
  • Project Management: Skilled at managing projects from the initial planning stage through completion. I have independently completed projects from videos to presentations.  
  • Organization & Time Management: Able to balance multiple responsibilities at the same time. My video projects required me to plan written content, set up meeting times to interview people, work camera equipment properly, and edit the footage, all before the due date.
